The Florida State Football Team has a workload to do when the season is over.

The Florida State Seminoles was shutout for the first time,in Coach Bobby Bowden Thirty-One years with the University Of Florida State.

This past weekend against now a 9-1 Wake Forest team 30 to 0 at Doak Campbell stadium, and it was the third shout out of his coaching career also it was the thirty forth shutout for the Seminoles football team alltime.But the problems started way before this game, and it has been for about 6 years and counting.

What is the problem? You are asking yourself; the problem is there offensive coordinator who just so happens to be the son of coach Bowden his name is Jeff Bowden.

Some has to do with not having a clutch kicker and for that matter not having a kicking coach. Which pretty much all great college football programs have and you would think with the history of miss felid goals that Florida State has had with Miami in the closing seconds they would have hired one by now. But kickers, can’t do anything if the offensive can not get downfield or at least in field goal position range where the Seminoles can try for at least a field goal.

That’s where Jeff Bowden comes in; after all it’s his job as an offensive oordinator,To get some points on the board .but when you are calling the wrong plays time after time, and it’s so noticeable. And it just bites me as to how in the world does he keep his job. And then you and I and many others and remember his dad who is a college football legend, and who built the Florida State football program to where it is today as one of the best in the country and a power house in college football.

But there comes a time, when you have to put family members aside and do what’s best for the football program. And I hope with many others, that he does the right thing. In by geting a new offensive coordinator for next year. but for now it will just have to do it’s Already too late in the season to fire him with only two games left on the schedule. But something needs to be done when the season is over period.
